Come and enjoy the island's largest city. Founded by Bartholomew Columbus in 1496, notice the mixture of old and new as you enter the first continuously inhabited European settlement in the Americas. As the first seat of the Spanish colonial rule in the New World, Santo Domingo became the city of many firsts for the Americas. Visit Colonial Town to tour the first cathedral of the Americas. Pass the first street of the New World - the "Calle de las Damas". Visit a 4 D cinema where you will see how Sir Francis Drake conquered Santo Domingo and explore with us the famous cave "Los Tres Ojos?
Stop for lunch among the ancient cobblestone streets and watch as luxury cars share the roads with horse-drawn carriages. Next, stop at the oldest viceregal residence in the Americas, the Diego Columbus House, before your group makes the journey back to Punta Cana.

What is included:

- Roundtrip transportation in a comfortable air conditioned minibus from and to your hotel in Punta Cana (you can stay up to 8 hours in Santo Domingo. When you choose your hotel you will see our suggested pick up time which you can modify since the tour is private)
What is not included:
- Tour-guide (you can add a knowledgable guide in your language to your trip in the following step for U$ 80.00)
- Lunch is NOT included but can be added for U$ 15.00 pp (1 drink included) in the following step
