If the humpback whales would have a nationality most of them would be Dominicans. Every year thousands of them visit us from the North Atlantic in the bay of Samaná to give birth and mate for the next season.

Please be aware that whale watching is a spectacle of nature. We cannot guarantee if and how many whales you will see during your trip. Also be aware that the activity is strongly regulated by Dominican authorities to protect the whales and boats are only allowed to be a maximum of 30 minutes in the vicinity of a whale group as soon as they are spotted
